Questions
Is Vault really free?
Yes. There are no ads, subscriptions or paid tiers.
What do I need to run it?
Windows 10 or 11. macOS and Linux aren't supported yet.
Is it safe to connect my accounts?
Steam, Xbox, Epic, Twitch, YouTube and Spotify use their official sign-in pages, so Vault never sees your password. PlayStation uses a session token you paste in. All tokens are stored encrypted on your PC and only sent to the platform they belong to.
Does Vault replace my launchers?
No. Vault starts games through the platform they belong to, so Steam, Epic and the others still need to be installed for their games.
Why is my playtime different from the platform's?
Some platforms don't report playtime, or report it late. Vault adds the sessions it tracks itself, so its total can be more accurate. It can also differ for games played on other devices.
How do I delete my public profile?
Open Profile in Vault and choose Delete profile. It's removed from our server straight away.
Is Vault affiliated with Sony, Microsoft, Valve or Epic?
No. Vault is an independent project and isn't endorsed by any platform.
